Stacy & Randy: South Seas Island Resort, Florida

Stacy and Randy have been an item since the met back in November of 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. When it came time to pop the question, Randy had it all planned out. He arranged a get-away to Miami Beach where the staff at BLT Steak helped him hide the ring in Stacy’s dessert!Stacy, with her love for fashion, immediately started looking at wedding dresses. She was drawn to designer Michael Costello’s amazing designs and reached out to him. To her surprise, she got an immediate response and the process of having her custom made wedding dress began. When the wedding day arrived, Stacy looked stunning in her mermaid styled wedding dress with sheer fabric and pearl floral beaded appliques, created just for her by Michael Costello.Stacy and Randy decided to return to Florida to tie the knot. They enlisted the help of wedding planner, Kelly McWilliams, to plan a destination wedding for South Seas Resort on Captiva Island. When their wedding, October 18th 2015, finally arrived every detail was planned perfectly. Their 56 guests were picked up by trolley and taken to a remote part of the beach where a comfortable breeze and the sound of the waves crashing on the shoreline greeted them. During the ceremony Stacy and Randy incorporated the sand bottle ceremony into the wedding to symbolize their kids (McKinley & McKinya & Sa’Riyah) along with the couple coming together as a family. After the ceremony, the trolley then brought the guests to the charming Kings Crown to celebrate with a dinner party and dancing. The private waterfront dining room was elegantly decorated and set the stage for a very memorable night. Stacy was thrilled with the salad bar that accompanied their entrees. After a full evening of dancing, guests were surprised with a late night pizza and ice cream station too. After the party was over, Stacy and Randy both said they were thrilled with how perfectly the day came together. Stacy said she would encourage all couples to do a small destination wedding. The quality time the got to spend with their guests all weekend was something that they will remember for a lifetime.
